Washington Focus Application 2010
Washington Focus provides opportunities for 4-H youth and adults to acquire and practice citizenship and leadership skills that can be applied to local situations and community projects.
Using the nations's capitaol as a resource and classroom, 4-H members gain a greater understanding and appreciation of American history and our system of government. During this program, participants learn how to use new leadership techniques, building upon the dynamics of peer-group influence.
Criteria:
Youth: 16 years of age or older or completed 10th grade by the date of travel
To be considered to receive financial assistance from the Kings Country 4-H Council, members must have completed at least two years in 4-H at the time of application, be enrolled in the 4-H Citizenship Project and submit their 4-H Record Book.
