4-H Shooting Sports Workshop

Saturday, January 9, 2010 – 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 10, 2010 – 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 
4-H Shooting Sports Leader Certification – Rifle Discipline
A shooting sports training workshop for the rifle discipline will be held in Tulare, CA on Saturday, January 9, 2010 8 AM – 6 PM and Sunday, January 10, 8 AM – 4 PM. The course will be held at the Rankin Field Range, 20000 Road 140 in Tulare, CA. Participants must attend both days of training to receive certification. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will be certified as rifle trainer and can lead a rifle project at the club level or serve as county trainer to certify other leaders. BRIONES 4-H ARCHERY RESULTS

 

The following are the results to the first annual 4-H Archery Mail-in Invitational, sponsored by Briones 4-H Archery of Contra Costa County.  Each of the participants from Kings County placed either first, second, or third in the category or categories they entered.

 Darian Roeber from Kings Harvest shot a compound bow with sites in the Jr. category and won first in the short, middle, and long distances.

 Kevin Cruz from Kings River shot a recurve bow without sites in the Sr. category, won first in the short distance, and third in the middle distance.

 Joshua Edwards from Mid Valley shot a recurve bow without sites in the Leader category and won second in the short distance.
