California Focus-June 25-29, 2010
California Focus is a unique Citizenship educational experience that combines hands-on participation workshops, debates, and simulations with outstanding speakers and historical, cultural, and government sites. California's capital city, Sacramento, becomes a "living classroom" for this five day packed adventure.
Youth Criteria
Be an enrolled 4-H member and have completed 8th grade
To be considered to receive financial assistance from the Kings County 4-H Council, members must have completed at least two years in 4-H at the time of application, be enrolled in the 4-H citizenship Project and submit their 4-H record book.
Applications due to the state office on January 7, 2010
January 15, 2010 $150.00 non refundable deposit due to State Office
Final Payment due to State Office on March 31, 2010
Financial Assistance will be offered for 4-H teens and adult chaperones application on State website and due on January 7, 2010
